WHERE WOLVES ONCE TRED
where wolves once tred
are tears
stained in the earth
left behind by those that fought
and won a few
but in the end lost All
and there they kept on going
until they bled and couldn't go on
all drowned together
those that wept
and fought
those that could fight no more
and died
after all was said and done
there was no where left to hide.
the blood bath
of grief that
swept the land
told of torture
by human hand
and the passion sung
from one last wolf
who mourned over his mate
in the blood red sand.
where wolves no longer tred
i'd rather be done with this Life
and dead
I would have fought the good fight
for one wolf's life
I would have lived my Life
for the sake of all Wolves
but not to hear their lament
across open sky
Lord, if never to see a Wolf again - -
I'd just as soon Die
knowing that where I'll go
so the torture will end
the blood red sky
will once again be Blue
and I will find all those
Wolves in Heaven
laying beside YOU,
oh Lord,
where they belong,
beside You.
