When an Echo Died

when an echo died,
it reached inside a wolf
and lived there
until it found its voice again
to cry out loud

when a river lost its current
it drowned inside a wolf
and all the passings of the tide
shifted here,
until once again it found their levels
of balance in the Waves

when the Eagle's song
no longer could be heard
so the Wolf sang it
for the deafness to hear it
for the stillness to remember
what once was lost
	in the memories of Eagles

when man was lost to himself
so the Wolf found him
with guns and all, 
	and the wolf led him
back, only to be killed again
by the same Man

when an Echo died
it was the wolf that cried
for this Man that called
to him to Save him again

but the Wolf couldn't come
the Wolf couldn't come

because the Man killed him again
after he had just found him

when an echo died,
it reached inside a man
and stayed there
until it found its voice again
inside a Wolf.
