I HEAR THE DISTANCE FALL

i hear the distance fall
the back of my heart
breaks
for the unseen call
in the wind
does not recognize
the silence of a Wolf

i feel the snow stop
the front of my Soul
dismantles
as wolf paws are
no longer around
to leave imprints there

i see the moon explode
a wolf once lived inside it
and controlled the universe
of his fears through us

until our own fears so overwhelmed
him
he died for our release of it

for our release of it
he let go of himself

i hear the distance fall
and it is the Soul
of a Wolf that left us

to this World

because there were those
who feared so much,
they aimed to kill his Shadow -
